Spent two weeks in September 2011 in Kenya with a bunch of other photographers. This gallery contains some 80 photos out of the 2,500+ photos from the trip. This was my third trip to Africa and the first time I succeeded in capture a Leopard. Having the opportunity to capture wild animals in their natural habitat is exiting but difficult. Quite often the animals are far away which necessitates the use of long lenses and this together with rapidly changing lighting conditions, animals on the run and jeeps in motion makes it difficult to obtain focus and get sharp pictures. Most of the pictures have a geotag. The bigger version of each photo contains information on camera modell, lens, ISO and exposure settings.
Photos from a trip sponsored by Nikon to South Africa in the autumn of 2010. Wildlife photography is a challenge and difficult light conditions and fast moving animals make it hard to nail focus. No sign of any Leopards at this trip.
